Photographer, Sylvana Burns submitted her  series of photographs. “Jordan” is an exploration of the female body, a body with a surplus of erotic meanings. The photographs were taken in an abandoned church and visually reclaim the interplays between sexuality and repression.

In my work I aim to explore themes such as voyeurism, the representation and expression of the female body, sexuality and desire through a female lens. I believe that there is a unique connection that surfaces from the work of a woman with another woman, in this case the female photographer looking and interpreting the female nude.
