Anna Constance Sampson, 22, is a London-based fine art photographer recent graduate from Chelsea College of Arts. Her final project, entitled ‘Gender Trouble‘ was a collection of images exploring the territory of gendered stereotypes in popular culture, examining and questioning orthodox concepts and definitions of gender. The female is often coded as passive, and she has been interested in challenging this notion by blurring gender stereotypes, thereby hoping to achieve equality between the different sexes.
